
Stanley J. Klimeczko, Jr., 82, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2025 at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. Born in Niagara Falls, he was the son of the late Stanley Sr. and Anne (Ciurczak) Klimeczko.
Stan was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls where he graduated from the former LaSalle Senior High School. On September 6, 1969, he married his beloved wife, Marie P. (Colosi) Klimeczko at the former Our Lady of the Rosary Church. Together they raised their two sons, Stanley and Robert. Marie later predeceased him in 2010.
Stan was employed by the Buffalo News as a photo engraver for over 25 years prior to his retirement. He was an avid classic movie fan, enjoyed reading and rooting for the Buffalo Bills. Above all, he cherished the time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.
In addition to his sons, Stanley J. Klimeczko III and Robert R. (Caroline) Klimeczko, he is also survived by his grandchildren, Kayleigh M. Klimeczko and Ryan R. Klimeczko; two siblings, Michael J. (Vasa) Klimeczko and Mary Ann Campanella; his brother-in-law, Richard (Cecilia), as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother, Leon M. Klimeczko and his sister-in-law, Katherine Colosi.
Private services with entombment in St. Joseph Cemetery will be held for Stanley’s family. Memorial offerings may be made to the Fatima Shrine, 1023 Swann Road, Youngstown, NY 14174. Arrangements by M.J. Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel.
