Frank Mangione, 94, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 30, 2025. Frank was born and raised in Niagara Falls, NY, and was the cherished son of the late Samuel and Rose (Palermo) Mangione.
A lifelong resident of 19th Street in Niagara Falls, Frank deeply loved his neighborhood and proudly embraced his Italian roots. He was the former owner of the Elbow Room on Niagara Street and the Topper Tavern on 19th Street, where he devoted much of his time.
Frank was the dedicated caregiver to his mother until she passed away in 2004 at the age of 99. He is survived by his nephew and caregivers, Salvatore ‘Sam’ (Patricia) Mangione, as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his three brothers, Gus (Doris) Mangione, Joseph Mangione, and Salvatore ‘Sam’ Mangione.
Interment will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery in Niagara Falls, NY privately. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice in Frank’s honor.
Frank will be remembered for his devotion to his businesses and his generosity. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
