Samuel Conti, 77, of Niagara Falls, NY, peacefully passed away on January 28, 2025, at Niagara Falls Memorial Hospital. Born in Niagara Falls, he was the son of the late Joseph and Eva (Bonaro) Conti.
A proud graduate of Niagara Falls High School (1965) and Niagara County Community College, Sam served honorably in the United States Navy until 1970. On August 9, 1994, he married his beloved wife, Elaine Conti.
Sam retired as a millwright from Cascades, formerly Norampac, after many dedicated years. He was an avid Buffalo Bills fan, a coin collector, and enjoyed working around the house. Sam and Elaine loved traveling, day trips to East Aurora, and nightly games of Scrabble and Yahtzee together.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Samuel (Cheryl) Conti and David (Rocio) Conti; his step-son, Wesley (Samantha) Aughtman; eight grandchildren, Nicholas, Christopher, Victoria, Anthony, Joseph, Angelo, Jaxton and Shawn; two great-grandchildren, Elviana and Dimitrés; his siblings, Kathy (John) Zankowski, Dennis (Patti) Conti and Christina Conti, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother, Joseph (Irene) Conti, Esq. and his sister, Verna (late Thomas) Bruno.
