NIAGARA FALLS – On January 1st 2024 at 0232 hours, Deputy Ross observed a vehicle fail to stop at the stop sign at Centre Avenue and Lockport Road. During the course of the subsequent Traffic Stop, Deputy Ross observed signs of intoxication from the operator identified as RONALD W. LASTER Jr., a 40-year-old-male from the City of Niagara Falls. As the result of the investigation, LASTER was
arrested for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated – Leandra’s Law (Felony), Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 3rd (Misdemeanor) Endangering the Welfare of a Child (Misdemeanor), and Failure to Stop at a Stop Sign. The 13- year-old-male passenger was turned over to his father, who was also a passenger in the vehicle. The vehicle was impounded and LASTER was held awaiting arraignment in the
City of Niagara Falls Court.
