Michael Anthony ‘Guido’ Carosella, 79, left this earth for another world on December 22, 2023. Born on January 3, 1944, he was the son of the late Michael D. and Mary (Petrullo) Carosella.
Mike graduated from NFHS in 1963 and later earned an Associate’s Degree in Drafting from Erie Community College. Mike was employed at Carborundum, Moore Business Forms and, in 2002, retired after 32 years from the City of Niagara Falls as Project Manager of the Engineering Department.
His greatest joy was spending time with his wife Ann Louise ‘Weezie’ Salada-Carosella whom he married in 1992. His passion was restoring classic cars and home construction. If you needed something remodeled, he was your guy. Mike and Weezie flipped several houses and remodeled many kitchens and bathrooms. Mike was the owner of THE BAR on Niagara Street, and later Pine Avenue from 1977 until 1989. His parents owned the building THE BAR was in on Niagara Street and operated The Capital Grill many years ago.
In addition to his wife of 31 years, Mike is survived by his Mother-in-Law, Peggy (late Larry) Salada; his in-laws, Jeanne (Bill) Conroy, Tom, John, Chris (Amy) Salada, MaryRuth (Ken) Brown, Kate Stack and Pat Aceti; his aunt, Helen (late Charles) Petrullo; his cousins, Marty (Penny), Chuck (Carol), Tim Petrullo, Cindy (John) Manningham, Helene (Pino) Carriero, Charles (Judy) and Alan (Margaret) Agar and all their children and grandchildren, And of course his girls Abby and Ava. In addition to his parents, Mike was predeceased by his brother, Anthony; brother-in-law, Michael L. Salada; his great niece, Hope Roehl; his cousin, Joe Carosella and many aunts and uncles.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 27 from 2 – 6 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY 14304, where funeral services will begin at 6 PM.

Mike recently did some construction at Whispering River Rescue and was anxiously waiting to oversee the new barn construction. Since he cannot physically be there, your donations will help the barn be built with Mike there in spirit. SERVICES
