Kurt P. Villani, 53, of Grand Island, NY, passed away on November 22, 2023.  Kurt is the son of Gail A. (Zaleski) Villani and the late Kurt M. Villani, born in Lewiston, NY on June 4, 1970. 

Kurt was a graduate of Niagara-Wheatfield High School.  On May 20, 1995, he married his cherished wife, Monica (Maniccia) Villani at Our Lady of Pompeii Church in Lancaster, NY.  Kurt was instrumental from a young teenager in the operation of Gui’s Lumber/ACE Hardware alongside his family since the mid 1980’s. Since then, Gui’s Lumber has grown to 7 locations throughout Western New York. 

Kurt was an avid boater and loved spending his summers on the water.  But above all, he loved nothing more than spending time with his wife and children, who were his utmost pride and joy. 

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his beloved children, Mia M. Villani and Kurt P. Villani, Jr.; his sister, Amie (Rob) Ceccato; his two nephews Anthony Ceccato and Joseph Ceccato; his father-in-law, Thomas (late Mary) Maniccia, as well as many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and numerous friends. 

A Mass of Christian Burial for Kurt and his wife, Monica, will be held Saturday, December 2 at 11:00 AM at St. Stephen’s Roman Catholic Church, 2100 Baseline Road, Grand Island, NY 14072. In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, https://wish.org/.
