Errol E. Usselman, 73, of the Town of Niagara, passed away unexpectedly on October 14, 2023 at Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo, NY.  Born in Rochester, NY, he was the son of the late Edward and Ann (Ruppert) Usselman.

Errol was raised in the Rochester area and was a 1967 graduate of Greece Olympia High School.  In 1969, he graduated from the Rochester Business Institute with a degree in accounting.  He proudly served in the United States Army until his honorable discharge in 1970.  On July 17, 1971, he married Barbara J. (Adams) Usselman in Dunkirk, NY.  Errol was employed for over 44 years in banking, beginning his career with Lincoln First Bank in 1969 and retiring from HSBC in 2012.  After retirement, he fulfilled his lifelong dream of driving a School Bus, working for the Niagara-Wheatfield School District, even having the opportunity to drive his granddaughter to school.  Most recently, he was employed as a bus driver with Discover Niagara Tour Agency until the time of his passing.

Errol’s true passion in life was bowling. He was an avid lifelong bowler, rolling multiple 300 games and coaching children at Gates Bowl Jr. League.  Errol enjoyed being outside, especially when he was grilling for family barbeques and driving with his wife in their RV.  He will be remembered for his sense of humor, but above all, his love of his family, especially his wife, children, and grandchildren.

In addition to his wife of 52 years, Errol is survived by his children, Brian (Kimberli) Usselman and Laura Usselman; his grandchildren, Morgan and Adam Usselman, and Zoe Zarrillo; his sister, Gail (Bernie) DeCamilla; 8 nieces, 1 nephew and several cousins.
