Carmela Catalano, 92, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2023 at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital. Born in Buffalo, NY, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ninetta (Carcione) Vicario.
Carmela enjoyed playing cards, especially poker, and going to the casino. In addition, she was a skilled cook. Above all, she cherished the time spent with her family.
Carmela is survived by her beloved children, Michele (Alan) Emerson, Denise (Dennis Jakubaszek) Markiewicz, and Camille (Daniel) Saunders; two sisters, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her cherished grandson, Stephen Markiewicz, and a sister and a brother.
