LOCKPORT — Niagara County District Attorney Brian D. Seaman announced that Ronald J Sponaugle, age 53, of Lockport, entered a guilty plea in County Court to two counts of Course of Sexual Conduct Against a Child in the First Degree.

Sponaugle admitted to sexually abusing two separate children at different times. The plea was the result of an investigation conducted by the Lockport Police Department and prosecuted by Second Assistant District Attorney Peter Wydysh.

Sponaugle faces up to 25 years in prison when he returns to be sentenced by County Court Judge John Ottaviano on September 26th.
