Philip graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Science from Cornell University in 1972. He was an avid golfer, bowler, and Buffalo Bison Fan. Philip was a season ticket holder for 32 years for the Buffalo Bisons. In 2015, Philip retired from US Customs and Border Protection where he worked as an Import Specialist for 36 years.
A loving son of the late Irene (nee Barczys) and the late Jerome Michalak.
Dearest brother of Lorraine (Patrick) O’Brien, late Alice Miller, and late Norbert Michalak.
Philip is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to assemble for a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Josaphat Parish (William & Peoria Ave.) Friday July 28, 2023 at 10 AM.
Inurnment will follow at St. Adalbert’s Cemetery in Cheektowaga, NY.
