Elizabeth J. Macri, 82, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on July 15, 2023 at her residence while under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Marvin and Genevieve (Fornuff) Confer.
Betty was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School. On March 21, 1960, she married Ronald L. Macri. Mr. Macri predeceased her on October 16, 2016. Betty was employed as a Computer Operator with Bell Aerospace in Niagara Falls, NY for 28 years until her retirement in the mid-1990s. Betty enjoyed completing puzzles, golfing, reading, and going to the casino. She also cherished her loving dog, Bella.
Betty is survived by her children, Ron (Rosanna) Macri, Mark Macri, and Patsy (Bruce Smith) Macri; her grandchildren, Samantha (Richard Morfin) Dockins, Ron (Erin) Macri, and Toni Marie (Matthew Pallaci) Macri; her great-grandchildren, Ricardo and Sofia Morfin, Ozzie and Ziggie Pallaci, and Ronnie and Nora Macri; her sister, Marilyn (late Benjamin) Nicoletti, as well as by several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her husband of 56 years, she was predeceased by her sisters, Virginia (late Robert) McInerney and Gloria (late James) Scanlon.
