WARRINE RHINES, daughter of the late Walter Smith Sr. and Annie L. Cox, was born on August 13, 1935 in Stewart Station (Hale County), Alabama.
Warrine was a very private person. At a young age, she left Alabama and resided in several cities. Finally, she settled in Buffalo, New York.
She married twice: to Buddy Ryan and Lee McCants, who both preceded her in passing. There were no children born to either union.
Warrine had many siblings, all who she joins in heavenly rest: Annie B. Tolbert, Leola O’Neil, Ada Rich, Lizzie Samuels, Louise Smith, Roosevelt Smith, Louis Smith, Walter Smith Jr., and Ruby Bishop. On Friday, May 5, 2023, Warrine Rhines entered into eternal rest.
Her memories will remain in the hearts of nieces, Bobbie Williams, Sara, Janet rich, Kim Clyton, Lind Rich, Loretta Leonard, Gwen Craig, and Denise McCants; nephew, Shelton Rich; and a host of other loving family and friends.
The family will receive friends Thursday, May 11, 2023, 2 PM at THOMAS T. EDWARDS FUNERAL HOME, INC., 995 Genesee Street, Buffalo, New York 14211, where Memorial Services will be held.
