On April 27, 2023 our Lord saw fit to grant peace and eternal rest to our beloved, Darlene C. Hayes. She leaves a devoted mother, Clara Mae Hayes; a loving daughter, Angelette C. Boddie (Carlos); grandson, David Bass; sisters, Gail F. Price and Sharon L. Hayes; niece, Sabrina Biven (Corey); great-nephew, Jeremiah; and longtime friend, Theresa Reid. Also survived by a host of cherished relatives, church family and friends.
Darlene is preceded in death by her father, Deacon Otis Hayes Jr.; grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Otis Hayes Sr. and Mr. & Mrs. Joseph Jackson Sr.
The family will receive friends Monday, May 8, 2023, 10 AM at Calvary Baptist Church, 1184 Genesee Street, Buffalo, New York 14211. Funeral Service to follow at 11 AM. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery.
