Mary (Daddario) Pizzi, 82, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2023. Born in Niagara Falls, she was the daughter of the late John and Esterina (Piciucco) Daddario.
Mary graduated from Niagara Falls High School in 1959. She married the love of her life, Gaetano ‘Guy’ Pizzi on July 23, 1969 at St. Teresa’s Church. Mr. Pizzi predeceased her on April 28, 2021. Mary was employed by the Lewiston Porter School District as a secretary in the administration office for 20 years. She was an active, longtime parishioner of St. Bernard’s Church where she was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society. Mary loved making rosaries, tending to her rose gardens and spending time with her family.
Mary is survived by her son, Anthony (Noelle) Pizzi; her grandchildren, Anna, Landin, Judy, Alyssa and Madison; great grandchildren, Leighton, Magnolia and Tobias, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her siblings, Gaetano (late Pat) Daddario, Josephine (late Cosmo) Greco and Anna (late Ottavio) Elia.
Visitation will be on Thursday, April 27 from 3 – 7 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY. Mary’s Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:30 AM at St. Bernard’s Church, 218 Hinman Street, Youngstown, NY. Interment in Gate of heaven Cemetery.
