BUFFALO — The Buffalo Sabres put one in the win column against the New Jersey Devils and moved within six points of a Wild Card slot.
Alex Tuch scored a pair of goals and an assist for the Sabres, while Dylan Cozens, Jack Quinn and Tage Thompson each tallied one in the victory. Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen made 27 saves.
The Sabres next take on the New York Islanders at 5 p.m. Saturday, hoping to get even closer to a playoff spot.
