Michael S. Romano, 66, of Lancaster, NY, passed away peacefully on February 19, 2023. Beloved husband of Brenda (Pérez) Romano; cherished father of Gabriel Michael Romano (Kathryn Harlock) and Kristen Elena Romano; loving son of the late Salvatore and Mary (Marchant) Romano; dear brother of Marcia Kirsch and Daniel Romano; nephew of Lee Romano; son-in-law of Maria (Michael) Sutera; brother-in-law of Pablo (Nancy), Angel (Jenny), Jeffrey Pérez and John (Audrey) Fradella.
Michael retired from UPS as a dispatch supervisor after 31 years of dedicated service. His most “famous delivery” was the birth of his daughter in the car on the way to the hospital.
Mike was an avid fisherman and enjoyed traveling extensively throughout the Northwest to find any body of water to fish in. He loved building projects with his son, as well as supporting his daughter during her swim career. Mike also enjoyed playing basketball and watching sports, basketball, football, swimming and even curling. As a devout Catholic, he was also a longtime parishioner of St. Gabriel’s Church.
Above all, Michael cherished the time spent with his beloved family and friends who will miss him greatly.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 23 from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 PM at Paul A. Kloc Blossom Chapels, Inc., 4680 Clinton Street (Corner of Borden Road) West Seneca, NY. Michael’s Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday at 9:00 AM in St. Gabriel’s Church, 5271 Clinton Street, Elma, NY. Please assemble at Church.
