Sandra J. Monti, 82, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on February 4, 2023 at her residence after a battle with an illness. Born on August 6, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth J. Waggoner, Sr. and the late Marguerite (Benson) Waggoner.
Sandie was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School. After high school, she was employed by Haviland China in New York City, before returning home and working for Durham Staffing and Adecco Staffing in Tonawanda, NY. She enjoyed playing bocce ball and mahjong.
Sandie is survived by her husband, Robert ‘Bob’ J. Monti; her stepdaughter, Dana (Glenn) Carroll; her grandchildren, Montgomery Carroll and Magdalena Carroll; her siblings, Sharon (Robert) Rapp, Kathryn Steele, Kenneth Waggoner, Jr., and her sister-in-law, Debbie Waggoner. In addition, she is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends, all of whom with which she shared a special bond. Above all, she left behind a legacy of beautiful memories to everyone she met. Sandie will always be in our hearts and never forgotten.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 11 from 10 – 11 AM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY 14304, where funeral services will begin at 11 AM.
