William (Bill) H. Cook, 64, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on January 27, 2023 at his residence. Born in Springfield, MA, he was the son of Homer H. and Cecilia P. (Placzek) Cook.
Bill was a 1976 graduate of Grand Island High School, later earning degrees from Amherst College and Harvard University. His interests ranged from studying Scripture and attending church, hockey, reading, and caring for his devoted cat, Boris.
Despite many health challenges, Bill’s faith in God never wavered. He was blessed with dear and special friends, each one God’s priceless gift. He was especially grateful for the many decades of unwavering assistance, encouragement, and love from the Gawel and Broderick Families.
Bill is survived by his sister, Sandra H. (Ray) Steele, his nieces, Christine Steele and Suzanne (Alex) Gentilhomme, his great niece, Lily, his aunt, Ruth Bradish, as well as several cousins and cherished friends.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 2 at 3 PM at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 2759 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304.
