BUFFALO – Visiting Potsdam erased a double-digit halftime deficit to defeat the Buffalo State men’s basketball team on Saturday evening at the Sports Arena by a final score of 79-71.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Tied at 13-13 with 14:33 left in the first half, Buffalo State went on a 13-0 run to lead 26-13.
- The Bengals extended their lead to as many as 16 on a fastbreak layup by Parkinson after a steal by Steph Vergara (Queens, NY/Francis Lewis).
- DaRon Hughey nailed a 3-pointer at the buzzer to give Buffalo State a 48-33 lead at halftime.
- The Bears started the second half on a 19-6 run, to close the deficit to 54-52, and eventually knotted the score at 65-65.
- Potsdam closed the game on a 14-6 run in the last five minutes of the game to earn the 79-71 victory.
