HOW IT HAPPENED
- Jones and Brianna Smith (Oakfield, NY/Oakfield) got the scoring started for the Bengals as the team opened the game 4-0.
- The Bengals would end the quarter on a 4-0 run again to lead 14-13.
- In the second, Cortland took the lead and began to pull away as they went into the half up 27-17.
- Cortland continued to hold strong to grow their lead to an eventual game high 31.
- The Red Dragons outrebounded the Bengals by a 48-31 margin.
FOR THE FOES
- Nyia Longford led the way for Cortland with 18 points.
- Sarah Tully added 15 of her own with a team high 9 rebounds.
