Michael Joseph Jacob, 65, of Youngstown, NY and formerly of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Monday, December 6, 2021 at N.F. Memorial Medical Center. Born in Lackawanna, NY, he was the son of the late Jack and Irene (Mort) Jacob.
Mike married his beloved wife, Diane (Longboat) Jacob on September 11, 1976 in Lewiston, NY. He was employed at Riverside Chemical for many years until his retirement in September of 2021. Mike was also a longtime member of the USW Local 277.
Mike was devoted to his faith and was a parishioner of LaSalle Vineyard Church. He was a gifted woodworker and enjoyed designing model trains and cars. Above all, Mike centered his life around his family, especially his grandchildren who were his pride and joy.
Mr. Jacob’s selfless and caring ways will be deeply missed by his wife of 45 years, Diane; his children, Angela (David Hunt) Jacob, Thomas (Melissa) Jacob, Anthony (fiancé BobbiJo) Jacob and Timothy (Dianna Pennington) Jacob; his cherished grandchildren, Riley Birmingham, Tyler Jacob, Makayla Jacob, London Jacob, Amelia Jacob, Isaac Jacob, Madelyn Jacob and Ashley Jacob; one brother, Thomas “Jake” Jacob, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be on Thursday, December 9 from 1 – 4 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will be held at 4 PM.
