On July 31, 2020, SP Machias Troopers arrested Gordon J. Wiedemann, 62, of Holland, NY for Driving While Intoxicated.
During a traffic stop on State Route 16 in the town of Sardinia, Wiedemann was exhibiting obvious signs of intoxication. Troopers determined he had been operating a motor vehicle while in an intoxicated condition. He failed standardized field sobriety tests at the scene. Wiedemann was then arrested and transported to SP Machias, where a chemical breath test revealed him to have a 0.15% BAC.
Wiedemann was released with appearance tickets for Sardinia Town Court, where he is due to appear later this month.
