On July 31, 2020, SP Amity Troopers arrested Edward J. Mochol, 57, of Angola, NY for Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 3rd Degree.
Troopers investigating a report of a stolen trailer observed the trailer traveling on State Route 19 in the town of Belfast. Subsequent to a traffic stop, they determined the trailer was stolen and Mochol was the operator.
Mochol was arrested and released with an appearance ticket for Belfast Town Court later this month.
