Salbie M. Denniston, 89, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on September 6, 2019 at her residence, surrounded by her family under the care of Niagara Hospice.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Sahagian) Bedrosian.

Salbie was employed as the original switchboard operator at the Niagara Hilton Hotel (currently the Sheraton at-the Falls Hotel) when it opened in 1974.  She worked at this property for over 38 years up until her retirement in 2012.  

Her hobbies included creative art sketching, doing crossword puzzles, watching classic movies on TV and listening to Frank Sinatra.  Salbie enjoyed going out for breakfast and had a sweet tooth for all kinds of deserts.   Most of all, her life centered around her two beautiful daughters Kim and Wendy and their families.

Salbie is survived by, Kim (Anthony Mikesik) Maio-Mikesik, and Wendy (Anthony J., Jr.) Minicucci; her grandchildren, Michael C. (Ashley) Maio, NFPD, Matthew R. (Alyssa Noel Sweatman) Maio, Anthony J. (Carolyn Sobol) Minicucci, III, and Nico C. Minicucci; her great grandchildren, Mason Russell Maio and Christian Michael Maio; her siblings, Sada (late Arsen) Garijanian, Rita B. (late Harry LaValley), and Marjorie Bedrosian, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
