YORKSHIRE — A 29-year-old Buffalo man was charged Feb. 2 with driving while intoxicated and moving from lane unsafely following a traffic stop on State Route 16. According to New York State Police, Troopers stopped Dhan Bhattarai after receiving a 911 complaint of erratic operation and Troopers observing multiple vehicle and traffic violations. Bhattarai was placed under arrest after failing SFST’s and transported to SP Machias for processing. Bhattarai recorded a .14% BAC.
Bhattarai was issued tickets returnable to the Town of Yorkshire.
