STEAMBURG — A 42-year-old Steamburg man was charged early this morning with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stopon Route 394.

According to New York State Police, Barrington Johnson was pulled over for driving erratically and after failing several SFSTs, Johnson was placed under arrest. Johnson was transported to SP Jamestown where he provided a breath sample of .09. Johnson was then processed, issued tickets and released. Johnson is scheduled to appear in the town of Cold Spring Court next month.
