RANDOLPH — A 19-year-old Russell, Pa., man was charged Tuesday with unlawful possession of marijuana following a traffic stop on I-86. 


According to New York State Police, Jared Hamilton was pulled over for speeding and while speaking to Hamilton, the Troopers smelled marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle. A search Hamilton and his vehicle revealed a bag containing two grams of marijuana. Hamilton was issued an appearance ticket and a speeding ticket and is scheduled to appear in the town of Randolph on a later date.
