A 31-year-old Burns man was charged with Burglary on November 19, 2019 following a theft investigation beginning in September.
According to New York State Troopers, On September 3, 2018, officers responded to the report of a thefts from a property in the town of Burns. Their investigation ultimately revealed Dustin A. Loveland had removed numerous items from the property and sold them as scrap metal without permission. Loveland was located on November 19, 2018.
Loveland was arrested and arraigned in Burns Town Court and remanded to the Allegany County Jail in lieu of $500 bail or $1,000 bond. He is due to reappear in Burns Town Court in December.
