BUFFALO, N.Y. — Buffalo State’s Princella McCullough (Rochester/Bishop Kearney) was named the SUNYAC Women’s Basketball Player of the Week after helping the Bengals to a season-opening 88-85 victory over Morrisville State on Thursday.

The junior criminal justice major was dominant at both ends of the court in her first game since the 2016-17 season, netting 25 points to go with 21 rebounds and six blocks, which were all career highs.  McCullough was 10 of 15 from the field and her 21 rebounds were the fourth-most by a Bengal in a single game in program history.

McCullough and the Bengals will visit Medaille for another non-conference game this evening at 6 p.m.
