SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. — Five different Bengals found the back of the net as Buffalo State roared to a 5-1 non-conference victory tonight over host Skidmore.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Andrew Logar (Niagara Falls, NY/Niagara-Wheatfield) and Michael Anthony Guerrera (Montreal, QC/OHA) had a goal and an assist each and Colin O’Connor(Kankakee, IL/Providence Catholic), Sam Maddox (St. Louis, MO/Lindburgh) and Zach Remers(Clarence, NY/Canisius) also scored.
- Mac Wood (Simcoe, ON/SCS) and Anthony Tulipane (Buffalo, NY/Kenmore East) added two assists apiece.
- Connor Minch (Manchester, NH/Manchester Central) finished with 39 saves as the Bengals were outshot 40-27.
- O’Connor opened the scoring with his first of the season for the lone marker of the opening period.
- Maddox netted his second of the year on the power play in the middle frame.
- Logar extended the lead to 3-0 with his first collegiate goal early in the third period.
- Guerrera scored less than four minutes later and Remers potted his fourth of the season on the power play to push the advantage to 5-0 with 6:24 remaining.
- Skidmore beat Minch for the first and only time just 13 seconds after the Guerrera goal.
- Buffalo State was 2 for 2 with the man-advantage, and Skidmore was 0 for 3.
FOR THE FOES
- Matt Wolf scored for Skidmore and Brandon Kasel finished with 22 saves.
