NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. — The Purple Eagles volleyball team closes out the regular season with a trip to Connecticut this weekend. Niagara will face the Fairfield Stags on Saturday, Nov. 10 at 1:00 p.m. and the Quinnipiac Bobcats on Sunday, Nov. 11 at 1:00 p.m.

Last Time Out
  • Niagara fell to Canisius in straight sets on Nov. 3 in the second installment of the Battle of the Bridge series.
  • Emillie Wright recorded a team-high 10 digs. Wright has now recorded double-digit digs in four of the last five matches.
  • Grace Hetterscheidt led the team in kills with seven.
  • Cameron Maris recorded a team-best five total blocks.

  • Caroline Leitch leads the Purple Eagles in kills, averaging 2.84 kills per set. She is ninth in the MAAC in kills.
  • Jessica Streuer leads the team in assists; she has tallied 713 total assists and averages 7.75 assists per set, which is the seventh-best in the MAAC.
  • Wright, who leads the team in digs this season, is also currently ninth among the conference leaders in digs, averaging 3.48 per set.
  • The Purple Eagles are fourth in the MAAC in hitting percentage this season (.188).
