The Canisius swimming and diving programs will host St. Bonaventure on Saturday. Meet time at the Burt Flickinger Center in Buffalo, N.Y., is set for 3 p.m.
 
LAST TIME OUT
• The Canisius men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams earned a split at home last Saturday afternoon at the Burt Flickinger Center.
• The Golden Griffins posted a 174-112 victory over Alfred in the men’s competition, and Colgate scored a 158-141 win in the women’s event.
• On the women’s side, the relay unit of freshmen Jordyn Spencer and Alison Testone and sophomores Kelsey Childress and Sage Pollack started the day off by placing second in the 200-yard medley relay (1:51.46).
• Senior Sean Carbary earned top honors in the 100-yard backstroke race. Carabry had two second-place finishes for the day, including the 200-yard medley relay and the 200-yard back events. 

COSTANZO AND PALO EARN MAAC WEEKLY HONORS 
• Sophomore Brett Palo was named the MAAC’s Male Diver of the Week on Nov.7 after having a successful meet against Alfred.
• Palo scored 274.72 points on the 1-meter board and 284.56 on the 3-meter to help the men’s squad to a 174-112 victory.
• Junior Vinnie Costanzo was named the MAAC’s Female Diver of the Week on Wednesday.
• The Lewiston, N.Y., native took top honors in the 3-meter event with a score of 250.42, and then posted a score of 248.09 to secure a first-place finish on the 1-meter board.
• For Costanzo, the award marks the second time that she has garnered the conference’s diver of the week accolades this year. She was also recognized on Oct 24.

ABOUT THE BONNIES
• The St. Bonaventure men competed against Atlantic 10 opponents La Salle, George Mason and Saint Louis in a dual meet format on Oct. 28. The Bonnies were defeated by La Salle (207-143), George Mason (229-123) and Saint Louis (216-132).
• Senior diver Brittany Hart and freshman Rachel Kimmel scored individual wins to lead the St. Bonaventure University women’s team to a victory over La Salle on Oct. 28.
• The women’s squad, fell to the other Atlantic 10 Classic participants, Saint Louis (189-163), George Mason (181-164) and Duquesne (208-144).
 
UP NEXT
• Both the men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams return to action Dec.1, when they host Binghamton. That event will be held at the Burt Flickinger Center pool in downtown Buffalo. Meet time is set for 1 p.m.
