The Canisius men’s swimming and diving program will host Alfred and the women’s program will play host to Colgate on Saturday. Meet time at the Burt Flickinger Center in Buffalo, N.Y., is set for 3 p.m.
 
LAST TIME OUT
• The Canisius men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams earned a split at home against Geneseo on Oct. 27.
• The Golden Griffins posted a 149-94 victory over the Knights in the men’s competition, and the visiting team scored a 140-103 win in the women’s event.
• In the men’s diving portion, sophomore Brett Palo earned top honors on the 3-meter board (274.42) and second place on the 1-meter board with 275.39.
• Sophomore Kelsey Childress had a standout day, with a top finish in the 100-yard fly event (59.36) and a second-place result in the 200-yard IM race.
• In the men’s competition, the relay team of senior Michael Shenal, junior Kenyon Winkky, sophomore Lucas Kennedy and freshman Kyle Kimerer started the day off by winning the 200-yard medley.

ABOUT THE RAIDERS
• The Colgate women’s squad is 0-3 through the first three meets of the 2018-19 season.
• The Raiders were topped by Binghamton,165-129, Oct. 27 at the Patricia A. Saunders Aquatic Center in Hamilton. N.Y.
• The 129 points also matches a season-high for the Raiders, as they racked up the same total on Oct. 13 when they visited Loyola.
 
ABOUT THE SAXSONS
•  The Alfred men’s swimming & diving team fell to Nazareth on Oct. 26 in its home opener at the Lebohner Pool, 175-125.
• Sophomore Noah Koltenuk was the first Saxon to pick up an individual win as he swam a 10:20.02 in the 1,000-yard freestyle race.
• Before heading to Buffalo, the Saxons will travel to Bradford, Pa. to face the of University of Pittsburgh at Bradford on Friday, at 5p.m.

UP NEXT
• Both the men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams return to action Nov.10, when they face off against St. Bonaventure. That event will be held at the Burt Flickinger Center pool in downtown Buffalo. Meet time is set for 3 p.m.
