The teams will be looking to build off of their performances at the 2017 MAC Championships that saw the men taking home sixth place with a score of 151 and the women finishing in fifth place with a score of 137.
Both squads are hitting their strides as of late as last time out on the course, the Bulls men secured a top-10 finish in the Princeton Invitational and the women claiming victory in the Canisius Alumni Classic.
The men’s side have been led by redshirt-junior runner Caleb Covell this season, who claimed MAC Runner of the Week honors twice this year after not seeing any action ion 2017. On the Women’s side, senior Lauren Reyda will look to put in a strong effort for the Bulls as last time out on the course she ran her best race of the season, crossing the line in third place overall for the Bulls in a deep field of 120 runners at the Canisius Alumni Classic. Competing in her first ever MAC Championships will be freshman Riley Jones, who has collected two top-10 finishes for the Bulls this season as she placed sixth in the Toledo Rockets Invitational and seventh at the Canisius Alumni Classic.
