A 24-year-old Salamanca man was charged with Menacing with a Weapon, Criminal Possession of a Weapon, Assault, Criminal Mischief, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance on October 19, 2018 following a call to police about a domestic disturbance.

According to New York State Troopers, officers responded to complaints of a series of incidents at residences in the town of Great Valley. Their investigation revealed that Eric J. Harrison had threatened a person with a knife and caused property damage at one location, assaulted another person at a separate location, and was found to be in possession of methamphetamine during his arrest in the city of Salamanca.

Harrison was arrested and arraigned in Little Valley Town Court. He was remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail or $7,500 bond.
