VESTAL, N.Y. — The Niagara women’s swimming and diving team split a tri-meet with Binghamton and Siena on Saturday, defeating the Saints, 173-97, and falling to the Bearcats, 161-109.
Meet Notes
- The relay team of Lauren Nicastro, Hayley Tasselmyer, Hannah Charlton and Yvonne Schere placed second in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:53.43.
- Avery Sanquist finished second in the 1000 free with a time of 10:51.49. She also finished second in the 500 free with a time of 5:19.83.
- Delaney LaBue took first place in the 200 free, finishing the event in 2:01.60. She finished second in the 100 free (56.28).
- Isabella DeSimone took third in the 100 back with a time of 1:02.40. She placed second in the 50 free with a time of 25.85.
- Tasselmyer placed second in the 100 breast (1:08.27). She also placed second in the 200 breast (2:31.29).
- Claire Schoemick took second in the 1-meter dive with a score of 127.66.
- Nicastro finished third in the 200 back with a time of 2:18.36.
- Charlton placed second in the 100 fly with a time of 1:00.74. She also finished second in the 400 IM with a time of 4:56.56.
- The relay team of Tasselmyer, Schere, Nicastro and DeSimone finished second in the 400 free relay with a time of 3:44.92.
