NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. — The Niagara men’s soccer team fell to Manhattan, 1-0, on Saturday evening.
Match Moments
- 12′ – The Purple Eagles fired off a pair of shots early, one from Luca Pacheco and one from Mbongeni Tshuma. Pacheco’s shot was blocked and Tshuma’s flew high.
- 22′ – The Jaspers scored the lone goal of the game, which was tapped in the right side of the net off a rebound.
- 35′ – Pacheco reeled off a pair of shots late in the first half. One was saved by the Jaspers’ keeper and the other was blocked.
- 49′ – A shot from Mackenzie Roach early in the second half almost hit its mark, but it was saved by Manhattan.
- 53′ – A wide shot from Pacheco was NU’s final chance of the game.
