- Niagara fell to Canisius in straight sets on Thursday in the first of two Battle of the Bridge matchups this season.
- Against the Griffins, Jaycie Roberts had a team-leading nine kills to go along with nine digs.
- Jessica Streuer led the team in assists and digs with 26 and 11, respectively. Streuer has recorded over 20 assists in her last 12 matches and has recorded double-digit digs in three of her last four matches.
- Thursday’s contest snapped Niagara’s four-match winning streak against Canisius at home dating back to the 2014 season.
