BUFFALO, N.Y. — The 2018 MAAC Champion Canisius College baseball program and head coach Matt Mazurek have announced the dates for their winter clinics. Taking place in the upcoming months at the Koessler Athletic Center, each camp is instructional-based and designed to increase the campers’ skill levels.
 
The schedule of the camps is:
 
• Fall Hitting Clinic: Saturdays – November 10 and 17
                  Session 1 – 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.
                  Session 2 – 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.
         The cost is $120 per person ($200 for both fall clinics)
 
• Fall Pitching Clinic: Saturdays – November 10 and 17
                  Session 1 – 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
                  Session 2 – 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
         The cost is $120 per person ($200 for both fall clinics)
 
• Elite Hitting Camp: Saturdays – December 8 and 15
                  Session 1 – 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.
                  Session 2 – 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.
         The cost is $200 per person
 
• Elite Pitching Camp: Saturdays – December 8 and 15
                  Session 1 – 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
                  Session 2 – 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
         The cost is $200 per player

• Canisius won the program’s third MAAC Championship in 2018 and played in NCAA Tournament for the third time in program history. Previous MAAC titles came in 2013 and 2015

• Four players from the 2018 team signed professional contracts, including Tyler Smith with the Los Angeles Angels after being drafted in the eighth round of the MLB Draft

• 33 more victories than the next best MAAC team
