BUFFALO, N.Y. — For the second time in three weeks, Canisius senior Siobhan Quinn has been named Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Women’s Runner of the Week, the conference office announced Wednesday.
Quinn continued her strong start to the 2018 season last Friday, when she placed sixth overall at the competitive National Catholic Championships in South Bend, Ind. The senior crossed the finish line in 17:43.68, with a pace of 5:42.3, lifting the women’s program to a fifth-place team finish. For Quinn, last Friday’s finish marked the third time she placed inside the top-10 at the National Catholic Championships.
The Golden Griffins are back in action Saturday, Sept. 29 at the Paul Short Invitational in Bethlehem, PA.
