Kissinger PoolBUFFALO, N.Y. — Buffalo State has released its 2018-19 men’s and women’s swimming and diving schedule highlighted by three meets in Kissinger Pool, a pair of invitationals and culminating with the SUNYAC Championships in downtown Buffalo in February.

The Bengals will open the season on Oct. 20 with a quad meet at Fredonia against the host Blue Devils along with Brockport and Ithaca.  Buffalo State will swim back-to-back meets on Oct. 26 and 27, first hosting the University of Rochester before traveling to Monroe Community College.  After road dual meets at Alfred State and Cortland, the Bengals will close out the first semester at the Hamilton Invitational on Nov. 30 and Dec. 1.

Buffalo State will make its annual Florida training trip in December and will return to local competition when it hosts Wells and Pitt-Bradford for a tri-meet at Kissinger Pool on Jan. 12.  The Bengals will celebrate senior day with their final home meet of the season on Jan. 19 against Oswego.  A dual meet at Brockport on Jan. 26 and the Geneseo Invitational at Erie CC on Feb. 2 will close out the regular season.  

The four-day SUNYAC Championships will also be held at Erie CC on Feb. 20-23.

Buffalo State is in the final phase of concluding a national search to hire its next head coach with a formal announcement of the hire coming soon.
