This weeks’ featured show is Friday’s The Long Cold Dark 10 Year Anniversary.
10 years. That’s a LONG time for a band to keep at it. But, these local metal veterans are hitting their anniversary this week. The Long Cold Dark (TLCD for short) are native sons of Buffalo, New York, and merchants of heavy-handed riff-centric metal. Formed in 2008, Drew Celestino (vocals, guitar), Jason Oberg (lead guitar), Adam Malone (bass), and Dan Metz (percussion) released their first self-titled album in 2010. In 2014, Dan Metz left TLCD, and Collin Folger took over behind the kit.
With This is a band serious about their business, in both recorded and live performances including opening for several national acts. TLCD is providing you a statement of intent, one they will deliver with grizzled American heavy metal aggression. Catch them at the Rockin Buffalo in West Seneca, NY on Friday, July 27th with Westworld Journey, Danimal Cannon, & Nuclear Winter! Doors open at 7:00pm, and it’s only $10 to get in!
