BUFFALO, N.Y. — Buffalo State’s men’s and women’s swimming & diving teams each earned the distinction of Scholar All-America Team for the Spring 2018 semester from the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association. The men’s team produced a 3.24 cumulative team GPA, while the women posted a 3.03.
A total of 710 teams representing 476 institutions from across all NCAA, NAIA and NJCAA Divisions achieved the honor, obtaining a minimum 3.0 GPA for the semester.
Buffalo State had 11 athletes on the men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams earn Dean’s List honors for the spring semester, including Connor Mergler (3.94), Elliot Spitzer (3.86), Aaron Dulniak (3.86). Tyler Minnick (3.83), Tim Petranchuk (3.83), Julie Vasconez (3.75), Tanner Rees (3.74), Michelle Viera (3.73), Brennen Baker (3.66), Jared Tribo (3.60), and Alexis Andres (3.54).
