BUFFALO, N.Y. — Ronni Kordrupel (East Aurora/Iroquois) led four Buffalo State athletes earning women’s outdoor track and field All-SUNYAC honors following this weekend’s SUNYAC Championship meet.
 
Kordrupel, a junior hospitality major, garnered first team honors by virtue of winning the 1,500-meter run with a school-record time of 2:18.56.  She also finished second in the 800-meter run (2:18.56).
 
Ashley Lyons (Freeport/Freeport), Tashana Dixon (White Plains/Woodlands) and Chassity Carrion(Nesconset/Sachem North) earned third team All-SUNYAC accolades, joining Kordrupel on the 4×400-meter relay that crossed third in 3:58.67.
 
The top-three finishers in each event at the championship meet are considered all-conference at the level of their highest finish.

Buffalo State finished eighth of nine teams at the championship meet.
