NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. — The Niagara University Department of Athletics has initiated the next phase of fundraising to improve the home of Purple Eagles Softball. As the season enters the home stretch, the focus on enhancing the on campus facility is prevalent. The vision for the renovated complex includes a new synthetic turf field, scoreboard, press box and seating, backstop, and renovated dugouts.
This new field will not only be a benefit to the NCAA Division I program, but will also offer increased opportunities for community engagement around the sport. The new facility will be one of the best in the region.
