PITTSFORD, N.Y. — Buffalo State secured the top-four places in the 100-meter dash to highlight the day at the non-scored St. John Fisher Cardinal Classic today.

NOTABLES:

  • Robert Liebel (Tonawanda/Tonawanda) led the Bengals’ dominant performance in the 100-meter dash with a winning time of 10.84 seconds.
  • Eric Vassell (Bronx/Mt. St. Michael) placed second (11.08), followed by Blaine Billings(Newburgh/Newburgh Free) and Elijah Lawal (Duanesburg/Duanesburg) in third (11.18) and fourth (11.34) respectively.
  • Robert Alexis (Middletown/Middletown) added a victory in the high jump clearing 1.83 meters, followed by teammate Cooper Schiavo (Smithtown/Smithtown West) who was runner-up with a mark of 1.78 meters.
  • Cody Sikora (N. Tonawanda/N. Tonawanda) crossed third in the 200-meter dash in 22.72 seconds, and Billings was fourth (22.87).
  • Jerome Masters (Grand Island/Grand Island) was eight in the 400-meter hurdles in 59.86 seconds.
