FREEDOM — A 28-year-old Freedom man was charged Saturday with aggravated DWI following a traffic stop on Maple Grove Road.
According to New York State Police, at approximately 10:37 p.m., Wayne A. Steffenhagen was stopped for no tail lights and subsequently determined to be intoxicated.
He was transported to SP Machias for processing and issued tickets returnable to the town of Freedom.
