Senior Tanja Stojanovska went a perfect 4-0 for the Bulls this past weekend as UB improved to 11-3 on the year and 4-0 in the MAC. On Friday, she joined teammate Anna Savchenko in doubles for a 6-2 win over the number two team from Miami, while she went on for a straight sets win over Milana Lysova at second singles, 6-1, 6-4. On Sunday, Stojanvoska and Savchenko won against a second doubles with a 6-4 win against Bowling Green. She again won in straight sets in singles with a 6-4, 6-3 win over Marharita-Sophia Tavpash at second singles.
Senior Vidit Vaghela had a strong week for UB, capped off with a doubles win against Columbia over nationally ranked competition. Vaghela joined teammate Petr Vodak to come away with a 6-4 win at first doubles against Jack Lin and William Matheson, who were the 34th ranked doubles team in the nation. Vaghela also won his first set in singles at fifth singles. On Saturday, Vaghela won his singles match at fourth singles with a 6-2, 1-6, 6-2 win over Monmouth’s Will Cooke Wharton.
