JAMESTOWN — A 25-year-old Jamestown man was charged Saturday with unlawful possession of marijuana following a traffic stop on North Main Street.

According to New York State Police, Matthew Seekins was pulled over for a traffic violation and while speaking to Seekins, the Troopers smelled marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle. After searching Seekins and his vehicle, two pipes containing marijuana residue and a bag containing marijuana were located. Seekins was issued an appearance ticket and a traffic ticket and is scheduled to appear in the city of Jamestown Court later in the month.
