FALCONER — A 41-year-old Falconer man was charged Thursday with driving while intoxicated — and a 41-year-old Falconer woman was charged with unlawful possession of marijuna following a crash on Falconer-Frewsburg road.

According to New York State Police, Troopers responded to a report of a one-car accident. Investigation revealed that Shalon Corbett was the driver of the damaged vehicle and placed under arrest after failing several SFSTs. While being searched prior to transport, a pipe containing marijuana residue and a bottle containing marijuana were located in Shalon’s pocket. Danielle Corbett, meanwhile, was in possession of a plastic bag containing marijuana, issued an appearance ticket to the town of Poland Court and released. Shalon was transported to SP Jamestown and provided a breath sample of .14. He was then processed, issued tickets returnable to the town of Poland Court and released.

Both Shalon and Danielle are scheduled to appear in the town of Poland Court later in the month to answer the charges. Neither Shalon nor Danielle were injured in the accident.
